Questions, Questions, Questions

I have to admit, I read the Spirita "Wellness is the Responsibility of Self" Blog every day.  I work for TumbleBrush, it is the least I can do to understand what it is I represent as a brand.  Today I would like to take the Wellness post from yesterday and make a few comments
"Even if we accept Awareness as being our Spiritual Bubble
we may need to explore our Opprotunities for being Aware of our Awareness."
-Spirita
How aware do I need to be?  How aware do you need to be?  Once I feel like I have grasped the idea of awareness, I look ove the edge of this abyss of awareness and realize there is far more to attain.  Is it possible to be fully aware?  Do I need awareness of foreign polotics as well as my representation to God?  How self aware can I become without living inside my own head and becoming a total hypocondriac? Can I become surface aware and let that surfice or will that lead to spiritual unwellness?

I fully accept the need to be aware.  However, I keep apporaching this idea and how it relates to me.  One minute I have to be aware of belching (also spoke of in the Spirita Wellness Blog) and the joys it allows my body to feel, then I have to be aware of how it affects "proper people", then how it affects the spiritual wellbeing of my self and others.  Then we take a look at a subject of something that is not quite as natural as bodily functions and it starts to make my head spin.  Who else do I need to be aware of?  Do there energies need me to simply be aware that they exsist or do I need to be more proactive in there awareness level?  Then on a grander level, awareness of God is even tougher for me to grasp.  It also begs the quesation what level of awareness do I need a micro awareness, self awareness, a community awareness, a global awareness, spiritual awareness and so on?

Makes my head a little dizzy.  Then on top of it, Spirita speaks of ME Energies, EM Energies OpO, and OPO..... I can't even grasp the idea of awareness, let alone this idea of Love Pumps and handsmagic.  But in my quest for awareness and wellness, if this is important I will shut up and absorb it as best as possible.  Haha  To many questions and I feel like I am overwhelmed.  Whew, off to Bed with Blankey.

Awareness and Wellness

"KivaConnections
Fifty-Eight
Heartbeat

Without Awareness,
we don't have a Spiritual Heartbeat." - Spirita

I won't repeat the whole passage since in our Wellness blog it was mentioned today and you could (and should) go check it out.  But I took this very first line, and identified with the meaning.  I wanted to write about what it means for you and ask for your comments on what it might mean for you.  Awareness (for me) takes place in a very deep place.  As a hobby artist I reflect on it while making art.

Have you ever been so engrossed by an activity that you look at the clock and say, "where did time go?" In an academic setting they say this loss of time evolves out of thinking in the right hemisphere.  this right side of the brain allows for creativity and in my opinion allows a person to really connect with themselves.  When I get into the right side zone, it is a magical place (kind of like active day dreaming.)  Our left hemisphere brain is very linear, logical, rational, and straight forward.   We need both sides to exsist, but then when speaking of the above quote, we have two kinds of heartbeats.

One heart beat would be the spiritual heartbeat that connects us with the universe and God; the other heart beat is a physical heartbeat that connects our physical organs together and supplies organs with oxygen and nutrients.  I relate the spiritual heart beat is connected to the right side of the brain and the physical heartbeat to the left side of the brain.Awareness in our right side of the brain is a little different than our left side.  One needs a surface awareness factor in our logical brain to be open to the possibilities of awareness and self knowledge only available to us in our right side.

Right side brain is related to creativity and play.  It is a magical place using your right side brain.  If you have never explored this side of who you are.  I was in my late 20's before I even knew it existed.  I challenge the readers to explore this spiritual heartbeat, creativity, right brain and feel the benefits from the rewards.

The first time I was introduced to this concept of right and left brain thinking was in this book.  Check it out on Amazon at :

I Can't Get No Satisfaction"

"Having things is not as satisfying as having yourself." –Spirita

I went to the TumbleBrush website today (www.tumblebrushpress.com) and I pulled the first quote that auto populated on the site.  My goal is to bring awareness to the simplest ideas I could find from Spirita.  “Having things is not as satisfying as having yourself.”  Seems pretty self explanatory, but let’s examine this while being extremely aware.
While having “things” to a certain extent is mandatory for human survival. Things like food, water, and shelter are a necessity.  A banana is food and nuts can be found pretty readily in any area right?  Water is great, but does it need to be fancied up with sugar and preservatives?  But how big does your house need to be?  A lean to or a cave would work for shelter right?   Having “things”  does not warrant all the extras that humans are fast getting accustom to; “I can’t live without my smart phone.”  I don’t need it and at the very basic level, because I have my smart phone does not mean it satisfies me on any level.
Satisfaction comes from within one’s self.  Satisfaction is a feeling that occurs when one decides, or chooses, who they are.  If I want to become a firefighter, I make the decision, or choose, and work hard to accomplish the goal.  Once I have realized the goal and become a firefighter, I am satisfied.  The journey allows one to feel this satisfaction and can never be compared to the feeling of a new pair of shoes or other useless piece of material goods.
Complete satisfaction is a great feeling but cannot be accomplished until you start asking yourself to answer the question, who do you choose to be?  So as far as awareness goes, that is the bottom line right?  Life is a choice and who you choose to be then fills you up; material goods only gives you a sense on temporary satisfaction, a fake satisfaction.  The real deal satisfaction lies within yourself and is up to you to discover what will satisfy the soul.

Sensitivity
Your sensitivity
could benefit
by
being
sensitive.
Awareness is a funny thing.  Someone who is a self proclaimed “aware” person might have the least amount of awareness.  There is a difference between “awareness” in general and “Awareness.”  Let’s focus on sensitive people for a short period.  How many people do you know that are so full of sensitivity they can’t get past it.  (I know dozens personally.)  These people have a low thresh hold for stress and complain when things don‘t go their way.
Maybe they are at an event (a hypothetical event) and they are not able to eat the meal provided because of food allergies and this leads them to complain about being hungry.  Being sensitive to food is a legitimate and valid thing.  But being at this event, took the time and talent of someone arranging the event and I am sure a whole lot of stress.   Being sensitive to that persons insecurities of providing a good event might benefit that individual with the food allergies.  Instead of complaining, the event host could walk to the back and wrestle up some agreeable food.  When a person complains, they put out a negative vibe and will never get a positive solution.  Ever heard of the ole’ saying “you get more flies with honey rather than vinegar”?
