Sensitivity
Your sensitivity
could benefit
by
being
sensitive.
Awareness is a funny thing. Someone who is a self proclaimed “aware” person might have the least amount of awareness. There is a difference between “awareness” in general and “Awareness.” Let’s focus on sensitive people for a short period. How many people do you know that are so full of sensitivity they can’t get past it. (I know dozens personally.) These people have a low thresh hold for stress and complain when things don‘t go their way.
Maybe they are at an event (a hypothetical event) and they are not able to eat the meal provided because of food allergies and this leads them to complain about being hungry. Being sensitive to food is a legitimate and valid thing. But being at this event, took the time and talent of someone arranging the event and I am sure a whole lot of stress. Being sensitive to that persons insecurities of providing a good event might benefit that individual with the food allergies. Instead of complaining, the event host could walk to the back and wrestle up some agreeable food. When a person complains, they put out a negative vibe and will never get a positive solution. Ever heard of the ole’ saying “you get more flies with honey rather than vinegar”?
