There is nothing
between you and anyone else
except
what you put there.
This excerpt comes from Symphonetic Musings written by Spirita and speaks to my last posting. In my last blog post I discussed the idea suspicion gives our “logical” (or our ego) mind reason not to trust others. When I had the realization of I am questioning someone else’s motives to a point that it hurts my ability to simply honor them, I have to take action. So now I am aware that being suspicious is there and I have the choice to change it. That’s the real kicker, I have a choice, and so does everyone else. (The awareness that you have a choice might be a lesson some still have left to learn.)
In this passage it says that nothing is there until you put it there. Suspicion is a feeling I have been “putting” into relationships, but with awareness comes the ability to grow into who I want to be. I want to be a person who is positive. I can start this off by taking out the suspicion and filling it with honor and love. I have become aware that I put those feelings into a relationship. I cannot control how someone else approaches a relationship, but I can control how I act. I am going to put good things between me and others because it is my choice and I am aware of it.
Until next time,
-C-
