Carry it with you.

Always carry
a writing pen
and paper.

You never know when
the Twinkle Fairies
will splotch
your awareness.

Inspiration disappears
when not quickly captured.

This passage is on page 86 of “Writer’s Cramp,” by Spirita.  In my last blog post I spoke of “twinkles” and in Jackie’s last blog posts she spoke of inspiration.  Today I will try to bridge these two ideas together.  I mentioned a twinkle (for me) might feel like a gut reaction or an instinct for knowing what is right for me.  But being aware that “twinkles” happen is the key here.  You have to know what you are looking for or you could miss it.  Just like a instinct, this “twinkle” or inspiration can occur in a flash, without notice, rhyme, or reason.   It is my duty to be aware of what my soul is trying to explain to me.   When you start looking for gut feelings, inspiration will fill you up.  When you ignore those gut feelings, that moment of inspiration will disappear.  One has to be aware these inspirations can happen at any moment, these twinkles (or feelings, instincts, or whatever one calls them) can last for a moment or for a week.  No matter the length, they are all important and need to be addressed within our souls.

Until next time,
Christine
