Through the Tunnel

invites Discovery.

This is actually a selection from the upcoming Spirita book, "Whispers". I got the wonderful chance to look it over while it is still in the process of gathering it's thoughts and becoming whole. This piece in particular stood out to me.

First, it has a wonderful image to me of a little me, my Soul, looking through my eyes and seeing the world. Very "Being John Malkavich" I suppose.

Aside from this image, strange as it may be, I also like that this points out how important it is to pay attention to your experiences. Awareness to me includes having a good grasp on who you are but allowing your experiences to help you grow and change is so important. Change is inevitable, you will change every moment of your day and the world you Discover through your eyes and experiences will have a huge impact on that. 

The World is vast and wide and there is a lot to see. I've been to a few continents, and I've seen a lot of great things and they have all truly effected me. It is also important to remember how aware you should be during your experiences. 

You should be in the moment, a scenario I struggle with. I tend to think about what is next. How do you stay in the moment? Well I think it has to deal with the calm that awareness brings. There is a certain serenity knowing that you can Choose how to react to our experiences, but in the same breath allow them to change us. Wow that is confusing, even to me and I said it. 

That will take some major Soul digesting to get to the meaning of how to Choose your moments but be aware enough for them to influence you. But I am open to all challenges.
